Steam heat content measurement
The STEAMTHERM meters are used as technological meters for measuring of the heat content in steam and they are typically installed at the outputs from steam plants, at the premises, at heat-exchanger stations or industrial processes using the energy in steam.
They are delivered in configuration of flow meter for measurement of flow of steam, eventually condensate and sensors for measurement of temperature of steam, eventually of condensate and pressure of steam. The quantity of the delivered or transferred heat is determined by means ETM 5.00 universal calorimetric counter.
Main advantages:
- possibility of measurement of content of heat in steam by all approved methods (direct, indirect or substitution method or their combinations)
- possibility of using of different flow meters of steam (vortex or orifice steam meters) and different sensors for measurement of temperature of steam, condensate and pressure with standard electrical outputs
- calibration or verification of all components of system (calorimetric counters, flow meters for steam and condensate, sensors for measurement of temperature of steam and condensate and pressure of steam) can be made separately
- possibility of transferring of dates to control room on long distance
